Sick days: Schools being scrubbed while kids get well

Knox County is one of those systems, taking sick days on Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 5 & 6, 2018) to give kids and teachers the chance to get well.

While classes are canceled, all of the schools are being scrubbed down and disinfected in order to limit flu exposure when students return.

With no staff or students in the building, it just gives us an opportunity to catch up on all of the cleaning and disinfecting that needs to go on," said Lori Hall, Operations Supervisor for KCS.
