One man was arrested after allegedly stealing a vehicle and attempting to run into police officers on Thursday.

Police said they found the car outside of an Arby's on Kingston Pike. Police said the suspect, Jeremiah Bias, tried to back his car into police officers. Bias then crashed into the police cruiser. Officers moved out of the way just in time, and police say no one was hurt.

Police said he tried to drive away but hit the side of the restaurant. Officers were then able to arrest a second suspect at the scene.

Jeremiah Bias was charged with felony theft, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of felony vandalism and resisting arrest.

A second man on the scene, Marlo Anderson, 22, was arrested for three outstanding warrants with the Knoxville Police Department of aggravated robbery, felony theft and auto burglary.
