A 16-year-old William Blount High School student is in custody after officials say she admitted to writing a "hit list" on a bathroom wall.
The list included the first names of eight students, and was found on the wall of a bathroom on the school's second floor, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
The student was arrested by a school resource officer Thursday and is being held at the Blount County Juvenile Detention Center pending a detention hearing release.
She is charged with being delinquent by false report.
