Man in custody accused of robbing 3 at gunpoint in Knox County

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Johnathan Rogers, 30, has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and three counts of aggravated assault. Investigators believe he robbed three men on Old Clinton Highway shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.

UPDATE Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m.: A man accused of robbing three people at gunpoint in northwest Knox County Monday has been taken into custody.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Johnathan Rogers, 30, has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and three counts of aggravated assault. Investigators believe he robbed three men on Old Clinton Highway shortly before 11 p.m. Monday.

He's being held at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on $160,000 bond.

ORIGINAL STORY Feb. 27, 2017 at 11 a.m.: The Knox County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed three men at gunpoint Monday night.

According to KCSO, the man robbed the three around 10:45 p.n. Monday in northwest Knox County at 7005 Old Clinton Highway.

The suspect is described to be a black male between the age of 30-35, around 6'0" to 6'3" tall and 210 through 230 pounds. The suspect left in a bright red sports car with an undetermined amount of cash he stole from one of the victims and was wearing a black shirt at the time.
