Baby lost during France attack reunited with mom hours later

A baby who went missing during the Thursday attack in Nice, France was reunited with his mother hours later after Facebook posts asking for help finding him went viral, friends of the family said.

A baby who went missing during the Thursday attack in Nice, France was reunited with his mother hours later after Facebook posts asking for help finding him went viral, friends of the family said.

"If you see this child: contact me. Blue stroller," one of the mother's friends posted upon hearing that the baby boy was missing.

The driver of a truck had plowed through a packed crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day. At least 84 people were killed.

As the boy's family frantically searched for him, another friend, Rebecca Boulanger, posted, "VERY IMPORTANT: in the rush of things with shots being fired some friends of our friends lost their baby boy...an 8-10 month old beautiful baby."

Hundreds of people immediately shared the posts and hoped for positive news. It came just about two hours laters when Boulanger announced a woman had been keeping the boy safe until she could find his family:

Baby has been found !! a lady took him in, the family is on their way to go get him right now ! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your prayers !!! and also thank you to all those who shared the posts !!

She explained further in a later post that the boy was back at home with his family.

"Thank you Lord," she said. "With such a horrible night it is such a miracle that through all the sharing on Facebook he was found. Thank you to everyone who prayed & shared the posts & picture."
