People magazine may have chosen Blake Shelton as their 2017 Sexiest Man Alive — but that doesn't mean Twitter agrees.
Users of the social media site tweeted their confusion over the 41-year-old country singer being crowned with the title, previously held by Dwayne Johnson (2016), David Beckham (2015) and Chris Hemsworth (2014).
Some joked that the decision meant we were living in a parallel universe.
